KRISTIN PEPPER is a New York City-based pianist and singer-songwriter, who has been performing as a solo piano bar entertainer at various venues in NYC, and alongside her sister Lauren at their residency at the historic Fraunces Tavern in lower Manhattan for more than 4 years as a duo. Kristin's lifelong passion for music stems from a deep-rooted classical background. Raised by professional musicians - her parents performed with The Cleveland Orchestra and Cleveland Opera - Kristin studied classical piano and bassoon, influences that continue to shape her musical journey.
She spent time in the past year releasing some of her original music on streaming platforms. She also has a background in theater which adds a rich storytelling dimension to her songs, filled with moments of reflection and emotional depth. Kristin's lyrics delve into the complexities of adulthood, offering an authentic exploration of life's transitions.
Inspired by artist Jacob Collier's advice to "make what you wish existed," Kristin approaches music as a personal passion and a family affair. Her debut singles feature contributions from three of her family members - Steph Kennedy, Lauren Marquez, and Wyatt Pepper. This collaboration reflects her belief that music is family, and for her, music is life.
